Leslie Walker, FNP-C has been with Medical Massage Rx since June of 2023. She started her nursing career in 2006 and is currently a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner as well as being board certified in Pain Management through AAOPM. Leslie obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2006. She worked as a nurse in the ER and ICU (medical surgery, trauma, and neurology) for nearly 10 years until 2015. Leslie attended undergraduate school in the Philippines until 2006 and graduated from Graduate School at the University of Texas-Tyler in 2015. She has also worked in a nursing and rehabilitation center in Fort Worth. In 2018, she managed an Immunology Infusion Center in Southlake where she took care of immunodeficient patients and advocated for their treatments as well as managing multiple different office duties. Leslie started her Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2021 at Walden University. She graduated magna cum laude and a member of National Society of Leadership and Success. Leslie has volunteered for a Christian based clinic for under-insured patients at Bethesda Health Clinic in Tyler and went on a medical and surgical mission with Operation Smile and Rotary Club. She has also volunteered for Habitat Humanity and raised funds for No Hungry Children and Hunger Free Philippines. Leslie enjoys the outdoors with her husband Craig and son Gabriel. She likes to travel and her hobbies include cooking and singing karaoke.
